Mindset is a powerful thing when use it constructively. Example; this morning I awoke with every fiber of my being telling me I was exhausted. My hands were soar and numb, my knees were throbbing from all the ware and tear of the treadmill, elliptical machine, and stair master machine.
My back was aching for no apparent reason. When got out of bed, every step I took felt like someone was on my back and I was giving them a piggy-back ride. Then I went out side and notice I was getting a flat tire. Ok, I thought to myself, I see where this is obviously going. Frustration rising, I knew it was time for me to take a step back and breathed in and out a couple of times change my state of mind and take control of my thoughts.
After all it’s Monday, I have every reason to be grateful. I have a family I love, I have a roof over my head, I have a vehicle that can get me from point A and to point B. Not to mention I have something extremely EXTRAORDINARY, I have LIFE! I have been given the opportunity this morning to wake up and count my blessings.
Not worry about the challenges but to see them as an opportunity to grow through them instead of sulking because of them. I have an chance to help others and inspire individuals beyond my fondest dreams. There you have it! My mindset was changed and my attitude adjusted.
I was explosive at the gym too! NO PAIN, NO GAIN!!!
