With all that is going on in my life these days, not to mention within the world. I find it hard to find inspiration to write about anything, especially when I am in a sad place. I have lost my sister, my aunt, and now my wife is recovering from a major heart attack she experienced last month, I am in a very anxious and unsure place at this time. Still grieving from my loss of family members. I have not found inspiration of any sort, until today.
Every now and then we may come across someone’s post about why we do what we do. Or why it is we have started something but no longer engage in it at all. Their words find their way into the crevices of our minds and hearts and uplift our spirits in a way we didn’t think possible.
Hope comes in many forms, inspiration can come from anywhere, even when you are not looking for it. In fact, inspiration usually comes when you least expect it. I have made it a habit to read and study God’s word more so now more than ever. Why now? Because I am feeling the loss and almost loss of my wife again who suffered two heart attacks in just five months. One of the reasons I have stopped writing is, I did not want to always come from a place of despair.
I read someone’s blog today they have written and it reminded me why I enjoy writing. You can say their post inspired me to start tapping on the keys of life and enjoy what really matters the most. Family, writing to inspire people and be a light in uncertain times in any period of life.
Through it all, I am reminded of a little relief in a passages I read in the bible and through the kind generous acts of others. Relief in knowing through everything all of us go through in our own personal lives, we are strong, even if we feel we can’t go on, God lifts us and comes through right when we feel we are about to let go, we are remind there is hope.
Hope through kindness, hope in generosity, hope in goodwill, hope in compassion, hope in caring for others, hope in giving, hope in our writing, and hope in God’s awesome power.
As always, thank you for reading my post. Have a great day!
